Downtown Chic

I remember the day we planned the photoshoot for this look.  I stood in my style room, thinking about how many looks we can get into this one shoot. Is it going to be hot or cold? Sandals or booties? I knew that I was going to over think what my readers would like to see and wear. This was one of those rainy hot days in downtown Houston and anything is possible after a good storm. The best advice Kate Robinson, said were these four simple words “don’t over think it”.  For those who know me, know that I am not a planner by nature. I have always been that fun free spirit that doesn’t like to live by a calendar. That always has it’s pluses and minuses but being spontaneous can lead to so much more and actually work out better than you might have planned. This just happened to be one of those days. The rain stopped just before each outfit change and I was able to get comfortable behind the camera. Best of all my daughter was there to assist me behind the scenes.
