Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the biggest sale of the year.  Every sale brings on a bit of anxiety and my job is to help you navigate through the sale whether you are shopping online or instore. I gotta be honest, I get just as much anxiety shopping the sale as I do covering it as an influencer. I want to direct you to spend your money on pieces that you will reach for years to come and focus on items that typically don’t go on sale. My mission is to teach women how to build a capsule wardrobe and I stayed true to my mission throughout my share. I have learned over the years, it is not worth stressing out over a piece of clothing and definitely not worth going into debt over this sale. There will always be another sale and there will always be another jacket. I know its frustrating when all us influencers start to share the sale early on and you see items being shared over and over. That is why I wanted to do something a little different. I really tried to narrow down pieces that you could style multiple ways and share items that you haven’t seen multiple times.

I have been listening to all of you more than you know. I read every single message that comes through my DM’s, and I wanted to share women with fuller figures and women of different ages. I hope you enjoy this round-up of the best pieces found from the Nordstrom Sale, from my family to yours.

Here are a few tips I have learned from past try-on sessions

1.) Always pack hair ties – It gets really hot in the dressing rooms and my hair started out really fluffy and pretty but ended up in a top knot.

2.) Pack bottled water and snacks – Luckily the E-bar cafe at Nordstrom has you covered. My mom was so sweet to grab us lunch and snacks to power through. It took us a total of 5 hours to shop, share, and check out.

3.) Bring a  fan – I have linked the tiny pink fan that I use to dry my creams when applying makeup. I have shared lots of beauty tutorials on my IGTV Instagram page. In this case, my pink fan was a hit all around the store. The dressing rooms get hot with the lights and all the changes in fall fashion, that I used this fan in between sessions.

Pink Blazer comes in other colors and fits TTS. I am wearing a large.

Boot Cut denim with an Ab-solution waistband. This is my go-to brand all year round. I have a white pant highlight saved to my highlights where I feature this brand in white on my Instagram page. Size down as I am wearing an 8.

Green racer back Body Suit runs TTS, it is a beautiful bodysuit that is very soft but figure-friendly.

Plaid one Button Blazer runs oversized and I love it. It is a classic piece and under $60 with the Sale.

Stella and Dot “You do You” necklace 

Ribbed Sweater comes in multiple colors. It runs oversized and we are both wearing a medium. If you are able to grab this sweater, grab it in multiple colors as the sale price is under $30.

Good American high-waisted denim in black was the number one item on my wishlist. I absolutely love these jeans and this is the only time of the year that they are on sale.

Camila waterproof bootie is extremely comfortable and run very TTS. I was wearing a size 8.

Good American Double-breasted blazer was the 2nd item on my wishlist. This is one of those pieces that you will reach for year after year.  A double-breasted blazer in black is a must-have staple piece that you can dress up, wear to the office or dress super casual with denim shorts.

P448 zebra high tops are probably some of the most comfortable sneakers I have worn in a long time. They run TTS and have an extra padded sole in the shoe.

Ab-Solution denim runs oversized, I sized down one size to an 8. These jeans have the best stretch and a stretch waist that allows you to move in your jeans.

Open stitch cardigan – Is a must in your fall wardrobe. Comes in other colors and can add layers for fall to your look.

Steve Madden leopard mules – Runs short, I sized up half a size to an 8.5. These are the best shoes from the sale, I pre-ordered the light suede mules and they will ship out September.  They are worth the wait and highly recommend that you if you want these shoes, order them while they are on sale.

Lace Trim Camisole – Sharing this lace cami even though it is not part of the sale. I am going to order this same cami in the beige once it restocks. It is gorgeous!

Snake Skin trim wide brim wool Hat – If you don’t own a wool hat, then this is such a great hat to add to your collection. It is one-size-fits-all and I have a small head.

Long Sleeve shirt dress in faux leather – Charlotte absolutely fell in love with this puff sleeve faux sleeve dress. She is wearing her true size 12.

Plaid one Button Blazer – Runs oversized and is such a classic piece to add to your wardrobe.

Good American High Waisted Denim – I can’t stress enough how fabulous these jeans are.  They run TTS and should be hugging the body. They are body inclusive and will make you look and feel amazing.

V-neck Camisole – Runs TTS and another great item to add to your capsule wardrobe.
